With SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (or SAP BI), SAP is offering a reporting component for their ERP system SAP R / 3.

In order to support and retain their customer base, SAP even started to offer SAP BI free of additional license costs.

Many pre-built reports on existing R / 3 structures (InfoCubes) are included by default as well.
